I hope you all had a profitable week last week and marvelous weekend. I spent most of the week fighting a cold - but Carl's birthday, family visit, apple picking, and the girls' first day of skating lessons this weekend more than made up for it.
And in school this week, we're learning all about apples and America and (surprise) the letter A. Plus I'm working (finally) on editing my novella, and creeping ever closer to that elusive publication date for some of the shorts, at last.

Thanks for asking, Livia, but I think I'll have to pass right now. The only way I got JA's post to her on time was that I wrote it about a month ago! Life is still threatening to swamp me - not sure how long it'll take before I get my sea legs and adjust to this new pace.
